Life Is Like The Wind

由于6岁就亲历了外公的去世,从一张写着病危字样的传呼单到挂满花圈黑纱的追悼会,一直以来,我对死亡都充满着绝望和无力感。最近在周末的报纸上看到一篇书评,作者用插图和小诗给小朋友讲人生中一定会面临到的大问题,譬如告别譬如失望譬如背叛。我挺喜欢,虽然我已经是个大朋友了。要是在那个时候,也有这样的一本书,给出一些儿童都可以理解的解释,或许现在的我会有更积极地更乐观地心态。

Life is a precious and funny thing.
When the body is alive, it is filled with life.
We can’t see life in the body, but we know when life is there.
Life makes the body move, and feel, and be with us.
Life is a little bit like the wind.
We can’t see the wind, but we know when the wind is there.

现在很多大人会平心静气地回答“我从哪里来”这样的问题,可又有多少父母能冷静地直面”life and death”这类话题呢?
